Langley Advance Times – Libertarian adds name to list of Langley byelection candidates
Alex Joehl, who ran in the October provincial election, is running in the federal byelection to fill the MP seat for Cloverdale-Langley City.
Joehl has represented the federal Libertarians three times historically, most recently in Langley-Aldergrove race in 2019. Five of six candidates faced the public and answered questions at an all-candidates meeting for the upcoming byelection in the riding of Cloverdale-Langley City Dec. 1.
However, Conservative candidate Tamara Jansen was a no show. Byelection candidates Ian Kennedy (PPC), Vanessa Sharma (NDP), Alex Joehl (Libertarian), Madison Fleischer (Liberal), and Pat McCutcheon (Greens) all showed up to the meeting held at 5 Star Catering.
